Default Thump in rear end

I have recently noticed a loud thump coming from the rear end when
going over bumps, speed bump, etc. It only sounds like passenger rear.
I am going to bring in to dealer, still under extended warranty.
Just looking for input as what it coud be. I checked the exhaust tips, they are holding tight.

check your lugnuts. That was what I experienced in Nov, and 3 out of the four wheels were loose. Thumping sound mainly had me checking the tips too, and that was tight. An hour later the thought of loose lugnuts popped into my mind and sure enough, that's what it was.

I will check. That is scary. The thought crossed my mind, but hadn't checked.

I was more than apprehensive about clicking on this thread.

You may want to look at your sway bar mounts as well.

The Rear Shocks will knock pretty hard if they are not very tight. I had this after shifting to Koni's.

good. You're doing this in a logical fashion. Check to ensure the jack and pump is battened down? There's not alot else back there.

I also have a tire patch kit and tools. Checked everything. Actually I took everything out of truck.
I have set up an appointment at dealership tomorrow. I will let everyone know what they don't find!!!
Did talk to my service guy. He is the only one that has done service on my car.
Since they don't see many SRT6's, he didn't have a clue what it could be. He thought
maybe a shock, but we'll wait and see.

They have been trying to get enough downward force on the rear end
so the can localize. They had a bunch of workers pushing down
on the car. I told him good luck. Here we go.

My car only seen 2 dealerships and one vandalized my car the first visit. The 2nd ordered me a hood shock under warranty and only had the car 5 mins to install. If your under warranty then take your car to Andrew at Atwood European in Phx. He does warranty work as I had the Maxcare, and you will see he works on bentleys, MB, Ferrari's, etc. The only place I trusted. Dealerships have no clue on the six.

Cruzin, I will give them till the end of the week.
They are changing out the rear shocks. So you are right,
they are using shotgun approach to fix.
